So talking of Spetsnaz...have you seen those bastards? They be craaazy. I was researching their tactics for the logic networks and heuristics I'm about to code, and...well let's just say, this will open your eyes:

I have added cost-function interpolation for per-node empiricism, and am working on implementing official GRU hand-to-hand combat using fuzzy logic and animation blending, after which I'll integrate them into Source (a fairly straightforward process, it'd seem) and begin training and testing the networks in various sandbox modes and selecting the cream of the crop for use in game. Fun stuff.
